매스게임은 오래전부터 정치적인 이유로 사용되었다. 정권 유지, 권력 강조 등 집단의 이념을 압도적인 규모로 강조하기 위해, 어떠한 가치들을 희생시키기도 했다. 〈매스게임〉은 전체를 위해 희생되는 자유, 평등, 행복 그리고 사람에 관해 이야기한다. 세 단어는 서로 다른 크기와 비례를 가진 글자들로 구성되어 있지만, 전체를 구성하는 요소는 카드를 들고 있는 같은 사람들로, 집단을 위해 소외된 개인과 가치를 모순적으로 보여준다.

The Mass Game has long been used for political reasons. In order to emphasize the group’s ideology such as maintaining the regime and emphasizing power on an overwhelming scale, some values were sacrificed. Mass Game talks about liberty, equality, happiness, and people sacrificed for the whole. The three words are made up of letters of different sizes and proportions, but the elements that make up the whole are the same people holding cards, revealing individuals and values sacrificed for the group.
